Rental turnovers
in Fort McMurray.
Move-out repairs, patching, painting, flooring, cleaning and final checks between tenants, organized around your next move-in. For landlords and property managers in Wood Buffalo.
Local help, practical scope
Every day a rental sits empty costs the owner money, and turnover work is where small delays stack up: the painter waits on drywall, the flooring waits on the painter, and the cleaner comes last. PropFlo helps Fort McMurray landlords and property managers handle the make-ready list as one coordinated job, so a unit moves from move-out to ready for showings in a sensible order.

A make-ready sequence that avoids rework
Turnovers go faster when the work happens in order. Repairs and drywall patches come first, then primer and paint, then flooring and baseboards, then fixtures and hardware, with cleaning last so the unit is presented fresh.
Working in that sequence avoids paint on new floors, dust on clean surfaces and return trips. Our article on rental turnover repairs in Wood Buffalo walks through the same sequence step by step.
Start from the inspection report
Alberta's Residential Tenancies Act requires landlords to complete move-in and move-out inspection reports. Those reports, plus your own photos, are the best starting point for a turnover scope. Send them with your request and we will turn the notes into a practical task list.
Keeping your own before-and-after photos alongside the inspection report also makes the deposit conversation with an outgoing tenant easier.
Managing a rental from out of town
Many Fort McMurray rentals are owned by people who have moved away or who work rotations. When you can't be there for the move-out, a local team can walk the unit, note what needs attention, and work through the list without you flying in. Tell us how access works, such as a lockbox or a property manager, and how you would like to receive updates.
Beyond the turnover
The list that comes out of a turnover is often the start of a preventive maintenance plan: furnace filters, caulking at tubs and windows, smoke alarm batteries and exterior checks before winter. Our landlord services cover ongoing tenant requests and property checks between turnovers.

Before you
send the list.
What is included in a rental turnover?
It depends on the unit, but a make-ready usually covers repairs from the move-out inspection, drywall patching, painting, any flooring replacement, hardware and fixture fixes, and cleaning. We scope it from your list and photos.
Can you work to a move-in date?
Include the move-out and move-in dates when you request a quote. Timing is part of how we plan the sequence, and we will tell you what is realistic for the scope.
Do you work with property managers?
Yes. We work with independent landlords, property managers and out-of-town owners across Fort McMurray, Saprae Creek and Anzac.
Can cleaning and yard work be part of the turnover?
Yes. Cleaning and basic yard work can be included with the turnover repairs so the unit is ready to show.
