What's up?!

My name is Paul and I am the founder of PropFlo

I have been a real estate, investor and landlord for the past 15 years. I spent some time delegating out my property management to a property management company. But after a few years, I became very unhappy with their costs, there service, and also my tenants were becoming very unhappy with him as well. I started to wonder why I was paying them because it was eating up my cashflow but they weren't really doing anything.

Since then, I took over management of my own properties and have been self managing for the last 10 years. Throughout this journey, I came to realize an issue in the property management industry. I also came to see this through a different lens as I also run a marketing agency and the software company.

I started to realize that all I really wanted to do was manage the properties in-house but I wanted to delegate most of the work to team members just like I did with my other company.

So I started to go down the path of using my marketing software to start automating my own personal real estate portfolio. I eventually got to a point where I had an assistant running day-to-day communication for me so that I can focus on my business. And I had a software automating everything from furnace filter, replacement schedules to semi annual property inspections. Eventually there was not a whole lot left for me to do, as I was using the system to automate and delegate.

There was one last piece that I was trying to figure out, which was how to outsource property access for tenant showings and completing move-in and move out reports. This is where I dove into accidentally starting a handyman business.

Eventually, I came to a point where I realize that you could blend then together and create a self managed system, where I could delegate out all of the work to other people using my software systems.
